Job profile:

• Operational order processing, such as quotation preparation, ordering and invoice checking

• Continuous development and optimization of product groups based on market, competition and price analyses

• Holistic management and implementation of purchasing processes (internal and external) taking into account scheduling and economic requirements

• Maintenance of existing suppliers

• Identifying market trends and innovations within your own product group

• Support for analysis & consolidation of product groups/ranges in cooperation with our customers

• Participation in the development of recommendations and concepts relating to product ranges, promotions, etc.

• Active participation in day-to-day business and projects as an interface between suppliers and customers

What we expect from you:

• You have a commercial training and/or a commercial degree in business administration

• You have professional experience in purchasing and ideally in the hotel and supply industry

• You are characterized by a confident and personable demeanor, combined with negotiating skills and strong communication skills

• Above-average commitment, initiative and resilience are a matter of course for you

• You are team-oriented and keep an overview even in stressful situations

• You have business understanding and analytical thinking

• You are responsible, work in a structured manner and have a proactive hands-on mentality

• You have business-fluent German and good written and spoken English skills

• You are proficient in the use of common Microsoft Office applications
